Southern Gospel Music

Southern Gospel music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee—one of the heartlands of gospel music—I grew up surrounded by the harmonies, hymns, and heartfelt testimonies that define this beloved tradition. What began as a local passion eventually became a calling, and over the past 35 years, I’ve been blessed to be part of this music ministry in ways I could have never imagined.

For more than two decades, I’ve had the honor of participating in professional Southern Gospel music on a national level. I’ve accompanied and ministered with groups such as Poet Voices, the Kingsmen, the Hoppers, the Perrys, the Chuck Wagon Gang, the Booth Brothers, the Guardians, as well as with Arthur Rice, Garry Sheppard, Mark Trammell, and even country artist John Berry. I also made an appearance on a Bill Gaither Homecoming video—a humbling reminder of how God uses music to reach hearts and glorify His name.

Whether playing piano in a concert hall, a local church, or a small country gathering, my goal has always been the same: to lift up Jesus Christ through music that encourages, convicts, and brings hope. Southern Gospel music isn’t just a genre to me—it’s a ministry. And I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve had to be part of it, both on stage and behind the scenes, offering my gifts in service to the One who gave them to me.
