Travel
One of my greatest joys outside of work and ministry is spending time traveling with my family. Exploring new places together has not only allowed us to see the world — it’s brought us closer as a family. Whether we’re walking historic streets in Europe, enjoying the beauty of the mountains, or relaxing by the ocean, travel gives us the chance to pause, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
In March 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to visit London and Paris. From seeing Big Ben and Buckingham Palace to standing beneath the Eiffel Tower, we took in the rich history, culture, and architecture of two of the world’s most iconic cities. Before that, we had traveled to Chile on multiple occasions, where we experienced both the beauty of South America and the joy of immersing ourselves in another culture. We’ve also enjoyed the warmth and scenery of a cruise to Mexico, with its crystal-clear waters and vibrant port cities.
Of course, some of our favorite getaways are closer to home. We've taken numerous trips to Florida’s beaches — enjoying the sunshine, seafood, and family downtime — and we always love visiting the Smoky Mountains, where the slower pace and natural beauty give us a perfect place to rest and recharge. Whether near or far, travel is something we deeply value as a family. It gives us a chance to step away from the busy day-to-day, experience God’s creation, and simply enjoy being together.
